Happy Holidays, everyone! Here are 10 things going on in Atlanta that you can’t miss starting now and going until the end of the month!

1. Garden Lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens: Probably one of Atlanta’s most popular holiday date nights! If the Atlanta Botanical Gardens wasn’t already beautiful enough, imagine it when it’s covered, stem to petal, in the most gorgeous holiday glitz and sparkles you’ve ever laid eyes on. This is a must see!

2. Stone Mountain Christmas: Stone Mountain really knows how to throw a Christmas celebration. They will be giving the Botanical Gardens a run for their money when it comes to light shows among other things. There will be a Snow Angel Palace, The Polar Express 4D Experience, several holiday shows including the Fireworks and Snowfall Celebration, the Crossroad Christmas Parade and visits with Santa.

3.  The Nutcracker at the Fox: This classic show is an Atlanta tradition. Put on every year by the famous Atlanta Ballet, sugar plum fairies and nutcrackers will dance their way right into your hearts.

4. Piedmont Park’s Season of Magic: At Piedmont Park, visitors can enjoy ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday lights and carousel rides.

5. Legoland Holidays: Dress up snow men made of real snow with Lego accessories, watch the nightly lighting of the world’s largest Lego Christmas tree and much more.

6.Centennial Olympic Park Holiday Style: The park transforms into a Winter Wonderland complete with thousands of lights and an ice skating rink.

7. Atlantic Station Winter Wonderland: This holiday season, Atlantic Station will be opening up a large outdoor ice skating rink and Santa will be there, as well.

8. Macy’s Pink Pig: For more than 50 years, Atlantans have started their holiday traditions by riding the Macy’s Pink Pig. Kids of all ages are now invited to ride the Macy’s Pink Pig train on top of the Lenox Square Mall. Atlanta’s most unique and beloved holiday tradition rides beneath the signature 170-foot, 1950’s themed Pink Pig Tent.pink-pig-ride-atlanta

9. Christmas Carol at the Alliance Theater: Celebrate Atlanta’s finest actors in this magnificent staging of Charles Dickens’s classic Christmas tale. This year will be Chris Kayser’s 20th production and final season as Scrooge. Don’t miss it!

10. Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Handel’s Messiah: Few if any works of the season hold a candle to the spiritual power of Messiah, and the Orchestra’s acclaimed interpretation draws people from across the Southeast. Do not miss a profoundly moving concert experience.

Is there anything else you think should be on the list? Let us know!
